There Was a Kid Who Swallowed a Fly

It is not easy to be crafty and winsome at the same time, and few accomplish it after the age of six. ~John W. Gardner and Francesca Gardner Reese

Kids are truly our future. Yesterday’s youth are today’s leaders. What a privilege and heavy responsibility we are tasked with to raise these people.

How do you feel about the fact that some children, even as young as 3 or 4, are being prescribed medication for ADHD?

Few will argue that Americans are excessively reliant on pharmaceuticals. It is difficult enough for adults to break out of the drug approach to health, so it is heartbreaking to think we are inducting our babies into this habit so young. We must fight harder for better information, and be relentless to do a better job of taking care of our greatest treasure here on earth: our children.

The desperation of parents in this video was deeply moving as they seek relief for their precious kids – as was the tragic approach to the struggle in treating what has become wide spread conditions such as ADHD, ADD, autism, hyperactivity, and other disorders – including increasing bi-polar diagnosis. Can’t wait for this trend to transition into a “wellness epidemic”.
