Gluten Free Flour

Gluten Free Flour

This is the gluten free flour blend we use for recipes that typically need fine, white, all purpose flour. It can be successfully used in many recipes that call for all-purpose flour. Among other things, we use it for our gluten free crepes (Swedish pancakes), and a variation of it for gluten free fried chicken.

You can bulk this mixture up with other flour alternatives such as almond flour, coconut flour, etc. This flour mixture is fantastic for occasionally making delicious "cheat foods" without much of the guilt.

  1. Whisk in bowl and store in airtight container.
  2. Use as gluten free option for All Purpose Flour.

This mixture recipe came from Short Bread Bakery “Delicious baked goods for every diet” – in NYC.

Where to Buy:

I can tell you with every bit of confidence that if you can buy flour and sugar at your local grocery, you are very likely to find rice flour, potato starch and tapioca flour. Check the flour, sugar and spices aisle of your grocery – if you look for BOB’S RED MILL products, you have found the right section. If all else fails, ask a store employee for help. I was able to find these products and more in Columbus, Montana – I have faith you will find it where you are.

If you have any trouble finding it, check “Where to Find Ingredients“, or our store page for more sources.
