Remember, the number one thing a cell needs to live and thrive is oxygen. We need it just to survive, and get in pretty deep trouble very quickly without it.
Before we get to the details of our cleanse, let’s talk air. In order to do so effectively, I need you on board and ready to breath. This can be done literally anywhere – and should be done everywhere. Are you ready? Ok.
Put Some Oxygen in Your Lungs
Sit up in a power posture. Shoulders back.
Put a smile on your face and lighten your eyes.
Now, put your hand on your stomach and breathe in deeply through your nose, using your diaphragm (your stomach should go out as you breathe in, your shoulders should not go up) for 5 seconds.
Hold your breath like that for 20.
Then release your breath for 10 seconds.
Throughout the day, put yourself in that posture and do this exercise every 2-3 hours.
Remember to Breath
Since starting this cleanse, I have challenged myself to catch myself when I am not breathing or breathing shallow. When I slouch, think hard, or am just going about my day, I often find that I breathe very shallow or hold my breathe.
